A phase-disruptor energy weapon. When a Klingon is going into a
heavy battle they attach the butt and an extension on the barrel to form the
disruptor rifle. This increases the range and accuracy of the disruptor pistol.

The disruptor pistol is the standard side arm for all Klingon
Warriors. It is used for close quarter fighting when the distance can not be
closed for hand to hand combat.

The old disruptor pistol is no longer used. It was used by the
Klingons in the early 24 century. A few may still be found in use though. Watch
out for them.
